about
This track was inspired by the man himself, Mr Tony Hawk. When he was a kid he had a really hard time dealing with failure, something I can definitely relate to. There are some other parallels between me and Tony. We kinda look the same, we like skateboarding. We both got married on the exact same day in the exact same year (not to each other; it was his 4th wedding, my first). Tony is marginally more successful, but honestly there's not much in it. Enjoy the song!

lyrics
Swing my bat into thin air and hear them strike me out
Again.
Bury my head in the sand
Oh the shame, oh the shame oh the shame
Oh the shame, oh the shame oh the shame
I took myself, took myself to the ravine.
Took myself, took myself to the ravine
Sit alone. Wonder why I suck this bad I can’t
go home. Wait until the sun goes down
Oh the pain, oh the pain, oh the pain.
Eats me up and it eats away my brain
When I wish to be gone. never seen
I take myself, take myself to the ravine
In this lonely place, with all of my mistakes
In this lonely place, with all of my mistakes
In this lonely place, with all of my mistakes
In this lonely place, with all of my mistakes
In this lonely place, with all of my mistakes
In this lonely place, with all of my mistakes
In this lonely place, with all of my mistakes
In this lonely place, time to escape
I'm gonna spin 100 times round in the air
I'm gonna show this fuckin’ world I dream to dare
And I’m never going back to the ravine
No I’m never going back to the ravine
No I’m never going back to the ravine
No I’m never going back to the ravine
No I’m never going back to the ravine
No I’m never going back to the ravine
